Welcome to Our World
Bloom and Barrel was created out of a love for two things, winemaking and flower Gardens. Co-Owners Steve Lemley and Sharyn Payne have followed their individual passions and they led to an exciting collaboration into the world of sourcing all natural clean ingredients, plant based waxes and curating our signature proprietary candles into recycled wine bottles sourced from Steves winery Pulchella Winery.
At Bloom & Barrel, every candle begins with intention. We believe a candle should do much more than smell beautiful — it should burn cleanly, safely, and sustainably from the first light to the final flicker. Every single candle we curate is custom, proprietary and cannot be reproduced by anyone else in the world.
Our Process
Each vessel starts as a reclaimed wine bottle from our winery, thoughtfully selected and transformed by hand. Every bottle is carefully cut, smoothed, and polished to create a one-of-a-kind piece that carries a story of craftsmanship, renewal, and purpose.
We blend our candles in small batches using a luxurious coconut, soy, and apricot wax designed for an exceptionally clean, slow, and even burn. We blend our all natural proprietary fragrances with laser focus in the same method our wines are blended. Our fragrances are thoughtfully chosen to create elevated, natural-inspired scents without any harsh chemicals commonly found in traditional candles.

That’s why Bloom & Barrel candles are made with a premium plant-based blend of coconut, soy, and apricot waxes — free from paraffin, phthalates, and unnecessary additives. Our wax is biodegradable, renewable, and designed to produce a cleaner burn with minimal soot. Our wicked are 100% cotton with no lead.
We use luxury high-quality fragrances that are carefully selected to avoid any harsh toxins while delivering sophisticated, long-lasting scent experiences. Every ingredient is chosen with both performance and peace of mind at the forefront.

Our Materials
Sustainability is woven into every detail of Bloom & Barrel candles.
Our signature vessels are handcrafted from recycled wine bottles sourced directly from our winery. Instead of discarding beautiful glass, we give each bottle a second life through a meticulous process of cutting, sanding, and polishing by hand.
We pair our reclaimed glass with natural cotton wicks and clean-burning plant-based waxes to create candles that are as environmentally conscious as they are beautiful.
The result is a reusable vessel that already has memories behind it, designed to live beyond the candle itself — perfect for repurposing in your home long after the final burn.
